He is affiliated with the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program , Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center , Breast Oncology Program , and the Helen Diller Medical Center at Parnassus Heights . As a Fellow and Instructor there, he trained in Dr. Charles Sawyers' lab and the Genitourinary Service, performing sensitization screens and studying how oncogenic transcription factors give rise to prostate cancer. He joined the UCSF faculty and started the group in late 2018.
